Dispute a Transaction - Any instance where you have engaged in a transaction. For example, an incorrect amount was charged or an item was charged more than once when it should not have been.
Next Steps:
- First, you must try to resolve the issue with the merchant (this is a Mastercard® requirement).
- If you are unsuccessful with the merchant, call 1-800-333-9934, select option 2 for Spanish or wait to continue in English, then select option 2.
- Once the initial dispute process is completed with the accurate information, provisional credit will be credited to your account within ten business days pending the investigation.
- A final decision concerning the dispute will be provided to you in writing.
